The History of Waller ISD

Since 1887, Waller ISD has had a long standing tradition of academic and extracurricular excellence. Today, Waller ISD is a dynamic and fast-paced “Met Standard” school district that provides for students pre-kindergarten through the twelfth grade. Innovative thinking and teamwork are hallmarks of the District. Waller ISD provides a number of educational opportunities, including special education for preschool and school age children, enrichment classes for students, as well as a wide variety of adult education programs for the community. The District has adopted the Professional Learning Community model for instructional and administrative decision making. The model ensures that students learn within a collaborative environment.

Waller school bell which, after

years of silence, has once again

assumed a position of prominence in the Waller Independent School District. It won't be rung every day as it was in the past, but it is serving an equally important function in reminding everyone that for over a century Waller schools have been... all about kids.
